Generally, a subject or topic is by a small margin notable if it meets both of the following criteria:
- There exists two or more reliable sources, which are independent from the subject and intellectually independent from each other, covering the subject greatly in detail.
- Out of those two or more sources, a coherent article about the subject can be written in summary style that has at least 1,500 bytes of prose.[a]
- ^ Both criteria must be fulfilled; "Synopsis" sections in articles about fiction therefore do not count to the prose, as it is cited to the primary work itself.
