The Five Factor Model

A number of researchers composed the Five Factor Model (FFM) to explain "the structure, utility and consistency" of personality traits. From the numerous research studies conducted on FFM, it can be assumed that the Big Five personality traits are stable over time, between people, and across situations. [1]
