On a daily basis you must be laughing for a variety of reasons. What happens after you laugh? Well, you feel relaxed and calm. Did you know? Laughter therapy[1] can be used to cure several diseases such as hypertension, ulcers, arthritis, stroke, diabetes and even heart diseases. It offers good relaxation and helps you relieve stress and depression. Why would you be laughing? Here are some reasons you might be laughing: after hearing a joke, watching a comedy movie, reading a comic book. Did you know? Laughter and smiling are contagious, I will be laughing and somebody passes by and does not know why I am smiling, he/she will end up laughing or even smiling. You will be laughing because you are having fun in your life. In addition you will be laughing because you are happy. No wonder they say laughter is the best medicine. You will also be laughing because of funny words, funny picture or funny video, the funny mimic, like Jim Carey does.

Here are reasons why laughing is good for you: Laughter can make it easier for us to cope with different challenges in life. Laughter boosts your immune system [2]in return the immune system helps prevent a number of diseases. Laughter relieves pain by releasing a hormone, endorphins which will improve our attentiveness, pulse and heart rate.

Laughter enhances our ability to connect with others and improves our social life, if you can make people laugh, then you are prone to have more friends, because everyone loves a joker. In addition laughing makes us energized and increase our interest in daily activities. Laughter is a good workout for respiratory, abdominal, leg, back and facial muscles. It tones intestinal functioning, massages abdominal organs and strengthens abdominal muscles. This activity is useful for digestion as well as absorption. Laughter also helps burn calories and is beneficial for weight loss.
