IIVIYONGO VILLAGE

Iiviyongo village is situated in the northern part of Namibia,in the Oshana region and governed by Honorable Clemens Kashuupulwa with his canceler madam Rosalia Shilenga Oshana.The Iiviyongo is located 20km between Omusati and Okatana constituency.Its within the Oshakati town council Oshakati.Iiviyongo village is rule as a traditional by a traditional head master well known Tatekulu Dilimani Iipumbu (Elenga lyuukwabi) with his headmen Mr Michael Timoteus Lweenya as a Traditional Leader (Mwene gwomukunda)of this village.

My village is blessed with different ethnic groups and they are united as a family.Iviyongo is not a densely populated village as its still an under developed village but one can experience a warm welcome from its indigenous people.My village have two churches ,(Elcin and Catholic)one community [[school] called Iiviyongo combined School ,named after the village and six kindergartens.EducationThere is no shopping center nor medium businesses but one can find small businesses run by the local people to sustain their needs and wants BusinessMy village is blessed with beautiful different plant species and a green pasture for grazing and many water sources like (Omadhiya, Iishana and pans)Natural Resources lake village but most importantly we have access to clean water and electricity and a health facility close to the community Sanitation.Iiwiyongo is well infrastructure in terms of transports and telecommunication networks. In 5 years one can find incredible development such as:more health facilities, Educational centers like (secondary school),Recreation facilities.
