User:Librarygurl/sandbox/notable Lowell

Not all Lowell residents, historical and current, are important enough to have their own entries, but they are important to the city. I am trying this method of listing locally notable people. Maybe a large list with multiple sources will meet notability requirements.

Jonathan Tyler

edit

Son of land owner Nathan Tyler, born in1790 and died in 1877. Tyler's land, where the Chelmsford Canal met the Concord River, was sold to the Mill Owners. Jonathan was close friends with local mill owners including John Lowell Jr. and Kirk Boott.[1]
