Engela
editIt is a village found in the northern part of the Namibia in Ohangwena region.It is also a constituency by itself the councilor of Engela constituency is Mr Jason Ndakunda . It is found 5Km east of Oshikango and it is closer to the borders of Namibia and Angola.There is a state hospital which is found 1Km south of Omafo and it is the reason why people visit Engela to seek for medical attention and is the only state hospital found there apart from Odibo that's why the health facility is a bit not up to standard.
There are three schools,two are primary schools which are Weyulu primary school which is found on the east of the state hospital and Ndilokelwa primary school which is located 2Km north east of the hospital.There is a junior school which is on the north of the Weyulu primary school.
Natural disaster
editThe village is situated near the borders of Angola and Namibia and it receives water flowing from the rivers in Angola and they go to the oshana and lakes that leads to flood this destructs the daily activities in the village because people will not be able to visit the hospital and it affect school kids as some of them cross the oshanas.It will make them to miss classes which will disturb their education <href> [ http://www.namibian.com.na/index.php?id=28&tx_ttnewstt_news=48473&no_cache=1 flood at Engela]</href>.
