Current season

The Leicester City FC Development Squad is the group of U21 players representing Leicester City F.C. (/ˈlɛstər ˈsɪti/). Founded in 2012, they play in the Professional Development League 2 North Division, which was formed under the Elite Player Performance Plan. The new set-up allows three outfield players and a goalkeeper over the age of 21 to be in the matchday squad. This gives Leicester City F.C the opportunity to give match time to players returning from injury or players who are off-form.
