Welcome to my user page.
I've only recently started to contribute in small ways to the WP encyclopedia. My areas of specialty are in general history, historical politics, the history of civil government, the philosophy of civil government, modern geopolitics, and political science. I have a bachelor's, master's, and a doctoral degree (one of each), but these are really irrelevant as compared with the vast material that is available on WP -- of which everyone can readily benefit. I first started (as most people probably do) by using WP as a quick reference for many topics. But as many probably have also noticed, there are often several small errors (and sometimes a few big ones) in many articles. So far I have only made very small corrections or additions to a few articles. However, due to my time constraints, I will not likely make any substantial contributions soon -- but maybe someday.
- I just realized that even though I've contributed to WP for a very short time, I've already had the great privilege of having my user page (this page) vandalized (occurred on June 10). I am flattered! Oh, for you other new Wikipedians out there, welcome to Wikipedia!
- I've just been vandalized here again (on June 16, 2007) by that same anoymous user. I guess that there are some troubled people out there!
