History

edit

Probably use a similar outline of history to the one already in place, with the relevant information filling it out:

     4 History of Western hermeneutics
o 4.1 Ancient Greece and Rome
         o 4.2 Early Christian hermeneutics
               + 4.2.1 Apostolic and Sub-apostolic hermeneutics
+ 4.2.2 Schools of Alexandria and Antioch
         o 4.3 Medieval hermeneutics
         o 4.4 Renaissance and Enlightenment
         o 4.5 Schleiermacher
         o 4.6 Dilthey
         o 4.7 Heidegger
         o 4.8 Contemporary hermeneutics
         o 4.9 Critical theory

Images

edit

I'd like to add an SVG diagram showing the relationship between author, texts, audience. Also would like to add diagrams that show the prominent emphasis for each "school." And probably a few pictures of major figures, if available.
