CameraLK is a Sri Lankan photo and video equipment retailer founded in 2010, based in Colombo 05, Sri Lanka. CameraLK conducts business through online e-commerce consumer sales, business to business sales, and its one retail location. Customers engage with CameraLK via its websites, retail store, phone sales and customer service, email, and chat channels. Anushka Gunasinghe is the Founder & Managing Director of CameraLK. Other top management consists Noeline Pereira Gunasinghe (wife of Anushka Gunasinghe) working as a directress for the company along with Ushitha Kariyawasam the general manager.[1] [2]
Beginning
editInitially set up as a pre-order business in 2010, they started importing cameras and other related equipments from Singapore as per customer requests. By mid 2011, the first CameraLk showroom was established near Nugegoda KFC. Sales and promotions were predominantly carried out through social media.Facebook. [3] [4]
New Showroom in Kirulapone, Website launch & CameraLk Academy
editIn 2013, a new fully fledged show was opened. And then in 2014 the first ever camera equipment retails website was launched. A photography academy was also launched in 2015.[5]
Largest Service Center and Largest Multi-Brand Showroom in South East Asia
editIn 2016 they opened the largest service center in South East Asia. In 2017, CameraLk showroom expanded to become the largest multi-brand showroom in South East Asia.[6]
Sony Authorised Distributor & Largest Sony Showroom
editIn 2017 CameraLk was appointed as the Official Authorized Dealer of Sony in Sri Lanka making Anushka one of the youngest official distributors of Sony in the world. After that this partnership took another step forward as Sony and CameraLk collaborated to open the largest Sony showroom in South East Asia.[7] [8] [9] [10] [11]

editCameraLK also began an exhibition about photography in 2018 with new camera introductions and workshops.[12]
