'''''Aishbagh junction railway station'''''

This is the third largest railway station in Lucknow city of Uttar Pradesh(India). It used to consist of five platforms . two of broad gauge while three of meter gauge . It was a terminus of meter gauge railway(until 2016 May) that comes under north eastern railway zone. It is under gauge conversion process and meter gauge track is being converted into broad gauge from here to sitapur in first phase . After gauge conversion 8 pairs of train will run between aishbagh and sitapur . Simultaneously number of platforms will be increased from 5 to 7 and it will thus help to decongest already overloaded Charbagh and Chhoti line railway stations.
