I'm Kristel, living in The Netherlands, enjoying life with people, books and movies.

I work in the IT sector as an IT architect. Being an architect is about setting up new and understanding existing structures. In my personal life I've always been curious, interested in understanding the world around me. This personality trait blends in perfectly with my professional life where I combine it with documenting my understandings in such a way that my colleagues benefit from it as well. Here on Wikipedia I can share whatever I discover about both professional/work-related topics and topics which I have a private interest in.

Me and Wikipedia

I've always loved learning new things, and that also makes me a huge fan of Wikipedia as it makes so much information available for me to learn from. I always joke to my friends that I've got a paid Wikipedia subscription, meaning that I'm a regular donor because I believe in the power and value of Wikipedia.

When you use a service it's also great to be able to contribute to it. I hope that other readers can benefit from my contributions.
