Background edit

Hi there! I am a current postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington under the supervision of Dr. Christian Sidor. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Toronto in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and my B.A. at Pomona College in the Department of Geology. My paleontological research interests are fairly broad (but do not include dinosaurs) and are primarily focused on Permo-Carboniferous tetrapods and Mesozoic temnospondyls.

You can find out more information on my personal website, read my (mostly) weekly blog, or follow me on Twitter!

Objectives on Wikipedia edit

Most early tetrapod and temnospondyl pages are not well-curated, either being single-sentence stubs or poorly-cited blurbs that draw from popular science websites on the internet. As an active researcher (and blogger) in these areas with relatively easy access to primary academic sources, I am slowly beginning to review and update many of these pages to provide more accurate and cited information on these fascinating animals in this large public forum.
