The 2007 Martian Invasion is an ongoing stream of comics in Irregular Webcomic!. In this the Martians of the "Martians" theme take over Ishmael's dorm and try to gain information. They discover that he is running a "combat simulator" (Half-Life) on his computer and that it is all over campus. Fearing that Ishmael is an elite warrior and that they have stumbled into a training center the Martians retreat.[citation needed]
They later return with Martian Brownies and ask Ishmael for assistance in conquering Earth. That ask that President Allosaurus give a ransom of 50 guitars per year. They then, with Ishmael's help, conquer Earth by posting a photo of themselves on Flickr, posting a blog entry on LiveJournal, selling one of their brownies on Ebay, and creating this article.[citation needed]
On May 5 (coincidentally Kenya Airways Flight 507 crashed on the same day) the Mythbusters confirmed that a Martian Invasion was indeed taking place citing email claims that African nations such as Nigeria are desperate to transfer their treasuries out of the continent due to an overwhelming force of Martians.[citation needed]
On May 16 the Martianed claimed vctory by citing Wikipedia, however President Allosuarus respnded by useing the {{fact}} tag.[citation needed]
