Hi,

I grew up in Guatemala, Central America but I have lived over 20 years in Mexico and several years in the U.S. I am a linguist and have studied and learned to speak a couple varieties of Mazatec in the northern part of the State of Oaxaca. I have a deep appreciation for the Mazatec people and their language. I am very interested in seeing the language develop in written form and in seeing its speakers growing in their appreciation and use of their own language.
