Immanuel Shifidi

"Immanuel Hafeni Augustus Shifidi's place of birth was in Windhoek the capital city of Namibia,born on the 16 July 1929"(Shiremo,2011). "The name Immanuel Shifidi is unerasable in the history of Namibia's struggle against Aparthied colonialism"(Shiremo,2011). In the year January 1967 he was part of the Ongulugwombashe camp. "The camp was attacked,because Immanuel Shifidi and his army forces did not have sufficient weapons"(Shiremo,2011). On the 30th November 1996,during a SWAPO rally marking the United Nations International Year Of Peace,he was pierced with a object and died. In the Khomas region ,in Windhoek the capital city ofNamibia,a school is named after his honour which is known as the Immanuel Shifidi Secondary School located in Katutura.[1]
