Destination Fear 2019 United States is an American paranormal and horror television series premiering on October 26, 2019 in the United States. The program features paranormal investigator Dakota Laden and his team of paranormal enthusiasts, including sister, Chelsea Laden, friends, Tanner Wiseman, Alex Schroeder with Alex Nelson and Connor Stallings behind the scenes. The team takes to the road in an RV visiting a list of reportedly haunted and paranormal hotspots across the United States. The youthful, energetic cast takes a new approach to the paranormal with participants sleeping solo overnight at each haunted location and recording their experiences for the viewer. Enhanced by an already-present chemistry amongst the team, the show portrays real-life events and the psychological impacts these paranormal hauntings have on members of the team. The first episode premiered in the United States on October 26, 2019 on the Travel Channel at 10 pm/9c and is currently airing each Saturday on the Travel Channel 10/9c. With the strong ratings thus far, it is expected to pick up a second season.
'TOP 100' Destination Fear - 2019 made the top 100 most tweeted hashtags in the United States during the airing of both the first and second episodes. According to Getdaytrends.com, #destinationfear -- immediately following the shows -- placed #44 on October 26, 2019 and #42, November 2, 2019 and improved its ratings in the third episode trending at #22 on Twitter.
IMDb viewer reviews are positive with an IMDb rating of 8.2 of 10 as of November 9, 2019. It is expected to have continued success as the season progresses.
