As for history we could add the facts about how the US has hushed many of its violent foreign affairs only to make is seems as if we are a peace keeping state so that way we are kept in the dark about real actions. It doesn't help this matter that we are only shown very censored coverage of real news if we are even being shown it at all.
Another point to address would be the very small section about environmental politics. Now more than ever has the good the environment been brought into the political world. In current events like Trumps pick of purely climate-deniers there is plenty to talk about in terms of post-truth. Even better to discuss would be the true scientific facts associated with the climate change and how we, as a nation, are no where near as exposed to them as we should be.
