KateMuse is a Curator for Shropshire Museums (Shropshire Council).
Shropshire Museums aims to develop and sustain museums and collections which offer people imaginative quality opportunities to actively engage with Shropshire's heritage in a way which meets their needs, as an individual or community. The collection consists of over 260,000 items with the geological, ceramic and archaeological being the most significant. The service includes seven museums (Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, Coleham Pumping Station, Much Wenlock Museum, Shrewsbury Castle and Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery) and a museum resource centre in Ludlow. Most of my edits and new entries will relate to topics that I have researched within my role to interpret and promote Shropshire's natural and human heritage.
