Karva Chauth is the festival that is majorly celebrated by Hindus across the globe. The festival generally falls in the month of October and is generally celebrated in Northern India with full gloom. This festival is dedicated to married women. The married woman fast for longevity of their husbands. The fast is observed from early morning of this auspicious day. Woman does not consume any food and drop of water to satisfy till she worships the moon at night. Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan, Delhi are few states of the India where this festival is observed.

Karva Chauth is on 30 October this year. The Karva Chauth 2015 Pooja Timings (Worship timings) had been pre decided by the pandits and the pooja start time is 4.36 PM IST to 6.13 PM IST. However, Karva Chauth 2015 Moon timing is not decided yet due to changing weather condition. But, it is believed that the moon would be seen after 8.30 PM in cloudy sky.

Karva Chauth Katha needs to be enchanted properly by all the married women, so that they can make the idols happy and enhance the lives of their husbands by keeping the fast for long lives of their husbands.
