I created a new sandbox page to work on the SDG 14 Life Below Water page.

(Only 2 of the 17 goals have their own separate wikipedia pages (SDG 6 and SDG 16) - I think we could work towards each goal having its own page in order to expand the information and talk about work being done to accomplish each goal. I used the SDG 16 page to model the structure of my SDG 14 page.

Sustainable Development Goal 14 (Goal 14, SDG14 ) – Life below water – is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in 2015. The United Nations describes the aim of SDG 14 to: "Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development." The Goal has 10 targets, with 10 accompanying indicators towards progress, to be achieved between 2020 - 2030.

From the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Knowledge Platform website:

"The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing - in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests."[1]
