Who am I edit
I am a computer scientist who has focussed the last few years on writing a novel based on Indian mythology.
Some Interests edit
My interest in history, pre-hstory, mythology, and stories in general, lead me to look at and want to edit articles in that area. From a professional perspective I am interested in Computer Science, cognitive science, and computational complexity. I am also interested in what used to be called "Socially responsible investing" and is now being referred to as ESG (environmental, social, and governance).
Concerns: Conflict of interest edit
I know some prominent actors in the SRI/ESG field and find myself getting irritated by the way the SRI/ESG entries are being maintained -- it seems to me that certain companies in that area are editing the wiki entries, or maybe even paying somebody to do it. At the same time, I don't understand the wikipedia conflict-of-interest guidelines despite multiple readings. I feel that any edits I might make would be considered improper because of my association with people active in ESG. I would appreciate guidance.
