The name Mpungu came from the birds which were species of vultures, this specie were called "Mpungu" they where staying at the place but now they went to an extinct. Mpungu is a small town it has one of the best favourable conditions in the country and alot of fruits are mostly found there. mostly people live by growing crops and this fruits that grow naturally.
