John Traunwieser - Recording Engineer
John Traunwieser was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. His musical talent was discovered at the age of four, when he started learning the Piano. He continued by commencing Violin lessons at the age of six. Shortly after he began, his teacher recognized that he had perfect pitch. He eventually became the Concertmaster of the school’s Chamber Orchestra in year 12 and also performed a piano concerto with the school orchestra, earning him the Piano Prize.
After graduation, he decided to pursue a career as an Audio Engineer. He studied a Bachelor of Audio Production degree at SAE Byron Bay, Australia. After college, his mindset became clear and he wanted to further his studies for a career in Audio Post-Production for feature films. He has followed his passion and is currently studying at the Los Angeles Recording School in Hollywood, California.
Specialities include: ADR, FX Editing, Foley, 5.1 Mixing and Mastering.
