Hi, I'm John. I'm a student at Umass braving a belittling bureaucratic battle for the sometimes brutal and often beautiful moments of self-directed learning.

I've constructed my own major around Music, Marketing, and Management with the intentions of diving head-first into the live music business. I've also tried to broaden my education by studying Communications, Psychology, and Sociology. I'm a Political Science Minor.
Interests edit
I love music! I play guitar, stand-up bass, bass guitar, piano (badly) and sing. I'm in the UMass Doo Wop Shop a capella group. I'm a competitive sailor. Sailing is a sport and an activity, just like swimming. Swimming is one of my favorite activities. I love being on, around, and under the water.
