422nd Military Police Company is a US Army Reserve Military Police Unit located out of California, in Bakersfield. It was changed from a transportation company in 2007 to a Military Police Company. The 422nd MP Company is under the command of the 96 MP Battalion, which is under command by the 11th MP Brigade. Its primary mission is to provide combat support to large units deployed to combat zones throughout the world.
