editScoring System
editPoints are awarded to the top ten classified finishers in every race, using the following system:
Position | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th | 11th | 12th | 13th | 14th | 15th |

Points | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? | ?? |
In order for full points to be awarded, the race winner must complete at least 75% of the scheduled race distance. In the event of a tie at the conclusion of the championship, a count-back system is used as a tie-breaker, with a driver's best result used to decide the standings.

Team Changes
editTalking Door Racing 2 disbanded as a poor result in 2018 for both TDR outfits meant that the funding had to be reduced for the privately-funded motorsport team run by Enzo Fazzi.
Atlantic Motorsport merged with Rookie Monsters becoming Atlantic Racing Rookie Monsters after a three-month negotiation with team bosses, Simon Marshall and Henry Drury. Ultimately Marshall will take a reserve seat with the team, and will manage the two-driver team this year.
Apex Online Racing Team joined the series, managed by three-time Pro Mazda Champion, Kerry Knowlden.
Racers in Pyjamas expanded their forces to include six cars, one more than 2018. There are now two drivers per 'sub-team'.
Driver Changes
editAnders Jensen joined Racers in Pyjamas 3 (who he was driving as a reserve for last year), from being an independent driver after his dominant run in 2018, which saw him finish second in the overall cup and win the independents cup.
Matt Le Gallez joined Atlantic Racing Rookie Monsters from the now defunct Talking Door Racing 2. Le Gallez had a strong run with the TDR team, however, due to his contract only being one year long, they were unable to resign him for their first team following their size reduction.
Krzysztof Maj joined Apex Online Racing Team from being an independent driver last year. Maj started the previous campaign with a poor effort, however, picked up pace in the second half of the season and finished fourth overall.
Charles Baccio joined Apex Online Racing Team from Talking Door Racing 2, which has disbanded. Baccio only raced four rounds in the series last year and is hoping that running with the new team will allow him to head down onto the track more often.
Simon Marshall left the series so that he coul run the newly merged Atlantic Racing Rookie Monsters team. Erik Ocvirk left the series after racing as a wildcard in Silverstone, which proved poor results, as well as Yapci Zamora who raced as a wildcard in Croft, alongside John Melichar.
Bram Hengeveld, Allie Ferrie, Jeremy Brewer and Tariq Gamil all have registered for the series under an independent banner.
TOCA British USF2000 Cup 2020
editThe 2020 TOCA British USF2000 Cup was the 1st season of the Cup run by TOCA, and the third overall, a motor racing championship for USF2000 Cups, run by the governing body, the British Automobile Racers Club. Teams and drivers competed in six events, spanning twelve races, starting at Silverstone and ending at Croft, for the Drivers Cup, Constructors Cup and Independents Cup. This is the first year Brands Hatch does not host the opening and final round of the series - with it not featuring anywhere on the six track calendar. This is the first time the BUSF series leaves British soil, featuring two races at the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, after the summer break.
At the conclusion of the championship, Joseph Wright won his third Drivers Cup title. Wright finished with 229 points, just 8 points ahead of teammate, Lesley Buurlage in second with 221 and Matt Le Gallez in third with 186 points. In the Constructors Cup, Stenden/NHL Racing Team won their third title with 450 points. Atlantic Racing Rookie Monsters finished second with 269 points and Apex Online Racing Team were third with 257 points.

Team Changes
editRacers in Pyjamas reduced their outfit to just four cars following half of their drivers leaving at the conclusion of the 2019 season.
Andretti Autosport joins the series expanding their team out of the USF2000's American equivalent, managed by Mario Andretti.
Laser Tools Racing will expand their BTCC team into the British USF2000 Cup managed by rally master Sebastian Ogier.
Driver Changes
editTom Watts has left a full drive, and has joined the RiP team as a reserve driver for the following season.
Andrew Harper has taken an independent drive this year, after his contract with the RiP outfit ended.
Anders Jensen has cancelled his final year on his contract with the RiP outfit, at a neutral agreement between the two parties after a disappointing season working together. Jensen will once again compete for the independents title.
Aaron Telitz joins Andretti Autosport, following the team from the American sport. Joining him will be Nathan Antunes, also a newcomer to the series.
In Laser Tools Racing, Aiden Moffat will be racing in the #19 machine alongside his drive in the British Touring Car Championship.
Anders Myhre signs a one-year contract with Racers in Pyjamas following two unsuccessful pursuits for the Independents title, finishing in second for two years.
Brian van Beusekom re-signs on the dotted line for a third year with Team SSR, after allowing them to finish third in the Constructors Cup for a second year running. Daniel Watkin was fired from the team, however, he will remain in the series replacing Johnny Stathoros at Hellenic Racing Association. Stathoros will still be fighting in the independents cup this year.
Krzysztof Maj will take the empty spot at Team SSR following a partially-successful run with new outfit in the previous year, Apex Online Racing Team.
Talking Door Racing demote Lorenzo Bonder to a reserve drive, following an unsuccessful season for the Brazilian, leaving a space open alongside Tobias Rohner. This was to be filled by Tariq Gamil following a strong rookie debut in 2019.
Jeremy Brewer was removed from the series and banned for a year following his failure to follow black flag regulations which led to a multi-car pile up and injuring two drivers.
Apex Online Racing Team had to fill a free slot with Maj heading to Team SS. This was taken by the driver Paul Fenwick, who failed to score any points at all in 2019, making it the biggest gamble of the season for the outfit to sign the 30-year-old.
Nick Cassidy and James Rossiter join the series from the Japanese Championship, Super Formula. Jann Mardenborough will join th series from the Japanese Super GT Championship.
