Hello! My name is Joost, 99 chosen randomly (okay, almost at random...) just because the "simple" Joost, which is my first name, had been taken. I am particularly interested in history articles, especially about the time of the Dutch Republic and about the beautiful city of The Hague. Whenever I can, I try to add some of my knowledge (if necessary in English, German for me is mostly just to inform myself).
I am a strong supporter of (good) sources, although I believe the English Wikipedia takes it a bit to far now and then, challenging even the most obvious.
