William Vandivert (1912-1989) was a documentary and editorial photographer for Life and Fortune magazines. Vandivert was one of the first Western photographers to make images of Hitler's bunker after the fall of Berlin in 1945. He was a founding member of the Magnum Photo agency with his wife, Rita Vandivert who became the first president.
