Lake Nokomis is a reservoir on the Tomahawk River[1] in the Northern Highland region of Wisconsin in the United States. Officially, the branch of the lake west of 89°45' is known as the Rice River Flowage.[2] However, in common use, the combination of the Rice River Flowage and the (lesser) Lake Nokomis is known as Lake Nokomis.[3] The balance of this article will be in reference to this combined lake.

Lake Nokomis has a total area of _____ acres and straddles the Lincoln County and Oneida County border, 3 miles (5 km) north of Tomahawk. Aside from the Tomahawk River and numerous creeks, the Little Rice River also flows into the lake. The lake is formed by the Rice Dam, sometimes known as the Bradley Dam, which is owned and maintained by the Wisconsin Valley Improvement Company.

The lake is the heart of a popular resort area, and features panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, muskellunge and smallmouth bass fishing. There are six public boat landings.
