Keith (Alan) Johnson Baker (Born June 11, 1923-Present) in Luckenbach, Texas. Him and his brothers, then moved to Los Angeles in 1928 with his family. He switched his name to Alan Baker as a stage name. He is most known for his roles in the film "Fort Apache" and the film "Meet Me In St. Louis". He fought two tours in World War 2 and fought in the Korean War. He pursued acting after he saw the film "Wizard Of Oz" in 1939. He was 16 when he did his first audition. He was great friends with actors and professionals such as Moe, Shemp, and Curly Howard, and Larry Fine from great show of it's time "The Three Stooges!" Frank Sinatra, Mike Douglas, Mickey Rooney, Clark Gable, Gene Kelly, Judy Garland, and Carle Hessay. He made it in 2 low budget films ( that could not be found ), until the start of World War 2 and was drafted in 1941 to the 4th Infantry Division. Keith Left in WW2 in 1942. While he was out he filmed a film called "The Human Comedy" The Human Comedy (film) with well known actor, Mickey Rooney. but when duty called, he had to go back to war in 1943. He then left for good in 1944 and filmed in the film "Meet Me In St. Louis" Meet Me in St. Louis with Judy Garland. They were both were really good friends (until her early death in 1969). 3 years later in 1948, Keith was in a western movie called "Fort Apache" Fort Apache (film) featuring Actor, John Wayne and Actress, Shirley Temple. The movie was a hit! Keith went to take a break in 1949 from filming and moved a small town called McAlester, Oklahoma to where he met his soon to be wife, Joan Leslie, an actress from the time. They both met while on vacation. The both got married and had two kids. Joey and Frankie, then they got married. (They were married until her death in 2015). They then moved back to Los Angeles in 1952.


He then was in film "A Star Is Born" A Star Is Born (1954 film) with Judy Garland again. Then "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World!" It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World - Wikipedia in 1963. Then in "El Dorado" El Dorado (1966 film) a western with John Wayne. His Great Grandson who is on YouTube Channel TJTV is also pursing acting.

Actors such as Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Will Smith, and others actors look up to him.

The War edit

He fought in World War 2 and was drafted in 1941 to the 4th infantry division. He fought in Germany and France and was in D-Day invasion. He later went back to war in the 50's for the Korean War. His son, Frankie Guy Baker, fought in the Vietnam War but sadly died in the war in 1971. His other son, Elwood Baker, survived the war.

Close Friendship With Mickey Rooney edit

The two were good friends until his death in 2014. They would both talk about World War 2.
