Music History

edit

Like every good Chinese boy, Jonathan took up the piano and the violin at age 4, however very quickly decided that it was not for him. Though he did keep up with Piano and Music theory till he was 12, Jonathan soon changed to the drums upon the end of his Piano career.

The Drums soon consumed Jonathan, and he has been hooked ever since. As much as he didn’t enjoy the piano lessons, the theory and the music background has been helpful in helping with his writing of music.

He now teaches drums on the side, and plays drums for Punk Rock band Dump, and independent artist Arnold Fang. He has a few of his own side-projects lined up also.
