Neil Cribbs (born June 10, 1980) is an American guitarist. He is a singer and songwriter of country, blues folk and new wave of Americana. He has been on stage with Doc Watson and has opened for Pam Tillis. Based out of Atlanta, Georgia Cribbs regularly tours the American Southeast.

Biography
editNeil Cribbs was born in Greenville, North Carolina. Both his parents are music teachers in the New Hanover County School system in Wilmington, NC. He was taught violin and piano when he was 5 years old. At 12 he played the trombone in the middle school band and began taking lessons on an old drum kit. It was when Cribbs was 15 years old he found his mother’s Harmony guitar stashed away in the attic. He learned his first two songs on the guitar by watching an old James Taylor video.

edit- Performed in the Music Fest 'N Sugar Grove[3] (Doc Watson Festival) 2008-2011 (Main Stage in 2011) sharing a stage with Doc Watson, The Kruger Brothers, and Carolina Chocolate Drops. World renowned mandolin performer Andy Owens hand-selected Neil to perform the main stage in 2011.

- Performed in the 500 Songs for Kids Foundation in 2011/[5]
- Performed as the opening act for Country Star Pam Tillis at the Don Gibson theater
- Performed at the 2011 Dogwood Festival Launching the new Acoustic Stage
- Performed in the Strange Daze Festival [6] featuring up and coming local artists around the Atlanta area
- Performed at the 2010 Local Soul Festival
- Helped form and was the first artist to perform in the “Music for a Change” campaign.
- Newest album Windshield was recorded and mixed with friend, producer, and pop singer/songwriter Kevin Rowe. The album was mastered by Glenn Schick
- Song “Busking” off the Windshield album has been selected as a featured song in the film Busk! [7]a documentary about Busking in the southeast by director April Denee
