Traditional highland weavings, and woman using a backstrap loom, Guatemala

My interest in arts and crafts began early in life. I spent many years assisting my father in his darkroom. This developed into a lifelong love with photography. I studied painting at The Three Schools of Art and photography at Ryerson in Toronto. Weaving and spinning in the 1970's, and served on the board of the Ontario Handweavers and Spinners as Vice-President and President. In 2008 I joined forces with my daughter, a jeweller, setting up an on-line shop on Etsy and a website. With all of this activity I do not have time to get a picture posted but one day I will have one like aymatth2 - sitting on the dock on a warm summer day with a good book!

I am new to Wikipedia, so please forgive my mistakes.
