Onaidimba

Onaidimba is a small village in the northern part of Namibia, situated in Omusati Region and Okalongo consitituency. it is close to the borders between Namibia and Angola. Onaidimba is mainly occupied by mbadjas and kwanyamas.The village has a population of approximately 2000 people.

The village was named after the head man Mr Fillemon Shifengula Naidimba of which the residents mainly depend on agriculture and domestic work. They also cultivate mahangu and depend on animals like goats and cattle to feed their family.

Development

The village has lack of development and poor quality of education. the head man really tried hard to develop the village where by he managed to bring clinics, school and hospitals.He also established projects like brick making project ang garden project and recruit people from the village.
