John Tagliaferro is my pen name taken from the male lead in the original Suki novel series that I created. I was an Army Aviator in the 1980s and 1990s and gave that specialty to the character as part of his background. His education background is in business, another similarity to me, but I have extensive work experience in that area and it does not fit my vision of the character I created. He has extensive line and project management experience in Army Aviation, combat experience, and advanced mechanical aptitude. These are things I am conversant on but not an expert.
