My only language is English.
I have been a heavy equipment operator in the USA for thirty-five years or so at the time of this writing. Before I was old enough to apply for a driver's license, I was a part-time winchman on a gold dredge.
My favorite teacher probably had a different opinion, but that was a long time ago, and I think I am probably a copy editor at heart at this point in my life.
