Etilahi

Etilahi, is one of the village situated at the northern part of Namibia in Oshana region[1], Okaku constituency. The name Etilahi it was named after the person who first located his homestead in that area and his name was Etilahi Kapanya.The village it is described by having beautiful green pasture during rain season and trees such as Marula tree,mopane tree and Palm.This can be typical related to the beautiful vegetation that can be seen in most area of the country Vegetation.

Mahangu is the typical crop grown in the village, which is suitable for agriculture.However, the soil in the village is exhausted and requires substantial fertilization in order to enhance productivity.Cattle also do well here and are herds extensive,furthermore Telecommunicationis one of the challenge that people within a community are facing in sush a way that there is a network problem. Addition to that the village is vulnerable to flood which cause a major problem to the community at large,in 2011 there was flood at the north and it was also affected.[2]. During that year when the village was affected by the flood food security was available within the community in such away that there was access to fish which rich in protein.

Finally, significant improvement in the rest of the road network and in other forms of telecommunication are required.
