Julia Shanahan (born 1988) is a student journalist originally from Baldwinsville, Ny.
Life and Career
editShanahan graduated from Canisius College in 2010 with a B.A. in Communications Journalism, a minor in Writing, and a focus in Advertising and Public Relations. She returned to Central New York immediately after graduation to pursue a Master's degree in Magazine Newspaper and Online Journalism at the S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Shanahan published professional articles for BuffaloRising, Buffalo.com of the Buffalo News, and The Tonawanda News. Her articles, photographs and videos successfully reported newsworthy events and happenings in and around the City of Buffalo.
