Jeff Meoli (born March 1, 1983) is an American software engineer, musician, and exercise enthusiast.

Early Life

Jeff Meoli was born on March 1, 1983 and grew up in Guilford, Connecticut. He is the youngest of 3 children with an older brother and sister.

Education

Jeff attended Guilford High School in Guilford, Connecticut. He received his B.S. in Computer Science and Cognitive Psychology from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He later received an M.S. in Computer Science from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Computer Science

Jeff Meoli started programming at the age of 8, when he taught himself the Apple Basic programming language on an Apple IIGS computer. He then went on to program Texas Instruments calculators (specifically the TI-89) using the TI-Basic programming language. In high school he took Computer Science courses in QuickBasic and C++. He managed a MUD for some time which was written in C.

At Northeastern University he dual majored in Computer Science and Cognitive Psychology.

In April 2012 Jeff began the creation of a programming language called Dragon. He has also developed several other projects including a desktop application and website that track workout and exercise information, providing indexes of moves and equipment, logs of past workouts, and charts of progress.

Music

Growing up Jeff was a percussionist through middle school and high school, participating in the concert band, marching band, and pep band. He is also a self-taught pianist with over 20 years of experience.

Exercise

In 2009 Jeff started doing CrossFit which fundamentally changed his approach to exercise from that point on. He specializes in calisthenics and gymnastics.
