One of the biggest rivalries in Division 1 high school sports is Pinkerton Academy(NH) versus Londonderry High School(NH) in their annual Mack Plaque. A tradition for the last 30 years, for which every fall sports team plays a game against each other. Each school sells t-shirts for the event and there is much bantering between the schools in the week leading up to the event. Pinkerton has had possession of the Mack Plaque for the last 16 years. The school which wins the most of the game is awarded the Mack Plaque with each school preparing for the event with spirit week events and pep rallies. Some of the spirit week themes include Stars and Stripe day, tacky tourist day, and final school color day.
