I am a paid employee of the University of Maryland Libraries (UMD Libraries), where I work in Special Collections and University Archives – specifically Special Collections in Mass Media and Culture. My job concerns processing collections, creating metadata, and answering questions from and doing research for patrons.
Conflict of interest statement edit
When I am editing Wikipedia as part of my official professional duties, I strive to strictly abide by Wikipedia's accepted practices on conflicts of interest, neutrality, and notability. Because the University of Maryland's educational mission is in line with Wikipedia's mission to disseminate knowledge freely, I will not make edits that I do not believe are in accordance with Wikipedia's practices and procedures. Any edits I make will aim to contribute subject matter expertise.
