Jhoeni Morales Eboña Darren Jr,popularly nicknamed Jhoeni, was born and raised in Bicol,Philippines. He had a Chinese blood in his mother side and also lived there for a about 7 years (China,in Pingtung,Taiwan) when he was 7 years old,his family migrate in the Philippines and became stable there,Then this present year he lives in Manila because of his career. A talented singer, Jhoeni was one of the vocalist in his high school band and music has always been a big part of his life. Jhoeni enjoys hip hop, R&B, gospel and soul music. He plays the piano and composes music in his free time.
Jhoeni attended Moreno Integrated School, one of the cheapest school in Camarines Norte. He entered the international entertainment business at the age of 16 while he was still in fourth year high school. He was discovered in Daet by an ABS-CBN talent.
At fourth year, Jhoeni decided that he would get a Computer Science Course at a university. In one interview, he expressed "I like to write and tell stories, my friends always tell me they enjoy reading what I write."
