Fair Warning: This page - by Wiki standards - may be a bit crappy. I'm placing this stuff here for a couple or so reasons:

To establish the page
To provide a place for random ramblings
To provide a forum where people can offer constructive suggestions on how I can improve my work here. :)

I think the idea of Wikipedia is a good one. Primarily I see it not only as an "encyclopedic" source of information - but also as a place where people can share knowledge about topics preventing this knowledge from getting lost.
Likewise, I don't care if every article here doesn't live up to "Encyclopedia Britannica" standards. IMHO, it's more important to get the information committed to writing where people can get to it, rather than get all fussy and pedantic about who cited what, or this formatting style or that one.
I'm not afraid of writing. I will also admit freely that I'm not the worlds best writer, neither am I a professional at this, but it's something I like doing. Also, practice makes perfect, 'eh?
As noted above, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed here. I encourage and welcome constructive criticism or critique of the work I've done.

I would ask that anyone who wants to flame me on any of this stuff please direct all flames and senseless griping to /dev/null ( :-D )
