"With great power comes great responsibility” - Voltaire

So I first came here in 2006 right around the time Youtube was also expanding and became hooked on both ever since. To give you an idea of what that's like, I was visiting Colombia, South America on leave from the military then. Wikipedia helped teach me more about the country and other things to pass the time when my best friend & their family was working. Back then, we had to use a cable to connect online and Youtube didn't have any of the ads you see today even though it took longer to load things at times. But the GOOD news was that you could pause a video, and it would continue to load the video all the way! So that is how I could pre-load episodes of my favorite subbed anime ahead of time, and watch them later in areas I visited before they had Wi-Fi in many public places.

Perhaps you came here to write on my talk page first about something I edited, but you most likely deleted/edited first and asked questions later. Rather than delete it or write on my talk page, but remember your changes & words would also be read by the public, plus I tend to write a lot and maybe you don't want to get into all that. So why don't you just write me here? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:EmailUser/Jeydo

I also kept tabs open of Wikipedia articles I wished to study and learn more about until I was able to connect again. You can see some of my older stuff here, but it likely archived somewhere else to combine articles based on characters. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions/Jeydo&dir=prev&target=Jeydo 2006 was the first time I got into manga as well so I was able to learn more through reading, watching episodes & updating the Wikipedia entries. It is because of all that, I decided to donate to the Wikipedia cause. "Believe it!" - Naruto

  • Remember, if you delete something - you could be helping or hurting the community based on your own opinions. If it's a few sentences, I understand - we only have 24 hours in a day, and we can't be bothered to discuss the intricacies of philosophy, Wiki politics, and ask if you can remove my freedom of speech and list your reasoning. But if it looks like a lot of time has been invested to write a good change or addition, perhaps talking to them asking/advising to make some small changes like shorten the paragraph, to make the article more fluid & condensed, etc would go a long way than just deleting it & causing their contribution to be in vain. Obi-wan said before "If you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you could ever imagine." But if communication of ideas, and feelings exist between the two, that could probably get someone to change what they wrote themselves - and Change is the real power out there.

I mainly edit things that move me in Recent Events or subjects within media such as books, music, technology, anime, video games, sports, television and the arts. I'm interested in making my User Page better when I have some free time. If you are too, you can go here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:User_page_design_center

I'm usually make contributions over at the [fishwrangler.wikia.com/wiki/ Fish Wrangler Wikia] which I try to keep as current as possible with another admin. I hope you enjoy it!
