Cubed³ is a video game website that provides features prodominently for Nintendo products. Based in London, England, the site launched in 2003 with Jorge Ba-oh as its sole operator. Gradually the site has employed a regular editorial staff totalling twelve people.[1] The site also currently has a large community of over 12000 active members.[2]
History

editCubed³ has seen several revisions during its time, undergoing changes in layout and style, implementation of new features as well as changes of domain names.
Downtime
editCubed³ has suffered considerable downtime since its launch. [3][4] Becoming the victim of unstable servers, bandwidth limits, hardware failures,malicious attacks by hackers[5] and slashdot effects. The length of these downtimes vary, on occasion causing members to retreat to temporary servers.
Content
editC3 Wii
editIn 2007, a version of the site was optimised for use with the Wii Internet Channel. [6] The Wii compatible version of the site is called C3 Wii and offers full use of the site for use on the console. [7]
World of Nintendo
editIn early 2008, the site launched a feed aggregator known as World of Nintendo as a "convenient way of viewing content from other sources" through an automatically updating page. [8]
Wi-Fi and Friend Codes
editIn 2007, Cubed³ launched a directory feature for sharing Nintendo Friend Codes. Through chat rooms and invitations users are able to exchange access to each other's games. [9]
