I am Jerry Shen, a senior at Washington University in St. Louis. I am from San Jose, California. I am pursuing a major in Biology in the Neuroscience track and a minor in Anthropology in the Global Health and Environment track. I am currently a research assistant in the Carlson Lab, where I am analyzing how the evolution of extreme encephalization affects brain shape in mormyrid species. I am interested in working on pages involving mormyrids, and may be interested in contributing to pages on neurological mechanisms and disorders in the future. I enjoy visiting art museums and hiking, and I also run a radio show called s h e n r a m e n on KWUR 90.3 FM.
