Hi, this is jerry-va's User Page. I'm a retired scientist who has also advised fund managers in high-tech invesments. The breadth and superficiality of my knowledge never ceases to amaze and frustrate colleagues.
IMPENETRABILITY?
My concern with Wikipedia is the increasing erudition, obscurity and impenetrability that increasing expertise brings. I want to see "Getting Started" sections that open with an overview. I would like to see more sentences at the end of paragraphs that begin with words like Summary: or In conclusion, ...
I'm happy to have comments on my talk page, which is often behind the "DISCUSSION" tab, and has a URL like en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:jerry-va
