Spooner Area School District, located in Northern Wisconsin, covers 550 square miles of Washburn and Burnett counties. Its schools, located in Spooner Wisconsin, consist of Spooner Elementary, Spooner Middle, and Spooner High School. In total, the district facilitates the education needs of over 1,240 students from K-12 grade.


Sports

Spooner School District, under the direction of the WIAA (Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association), is a proud member of the Heart of the North Conference. Its sporting teams consist of athletes who pride themselves in sportsmanship and poise. Sports offered by the school district include, Baseball Softball, Boy's and Girl's Basketball, Golf, Boy's and Girl's Hockey, Boy's and Girl's Soccer, Cross Country, Cross Country Skiing, Football, Track, Volleyball, and Wrestling.

Additional Activities

In addition to sports Spooner student also participate in a number of other extra-curricular activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, D.I. (Destination Imagination), Forensics, Band, Choir, Tech. Ed. Club, Drama Club, SADD, FFA, Student Government, and many more.
