Jennifer Hall Lee is a filmmaker, writer and speaker. She is an independent filmmaker whose most recent film, "Feminist: Stories from Women's Liberation"[1] won the Best of the Festival for documentary award for the Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival in 2013. A graduate of Hampshire College[2] in 1985, Jennifer moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and began working as an optical compositor for Lucasfilm's Industrial Light & Magic[3]. Her numerous credits[4] include, HOOK, FORESST GUMP, THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, DEATH BECOMES HER, IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS and BEOWULF. She also made her first independent film in 1997 on the architect Mary Jane Colter[5], "Mary Jane Colter: The Desert View" narrated by Ellen Burstyn[6].

Her film Feminist: Stories from Women's Liberation[7] is a 60 minute documentary about the women's liberation movement in the United States and covers the years 1963-1970. It is distributed by Women Make Movies. [8]Jennifer Lee screens the film and speaks about the importance of remembering the women's liberation movement and teaching it in schools. In April of 2013 she traveled to Islamabad, Pakistan and screened the film at the request of the International Islamic University. [9] She is one of the contributors in the book "Love Her, Love Her Not: The Hillary Paradox."
